From 1997 to 2023, Avery Gordon co-hosted a weekly public affairs radio program with Elizabeth Robinson on KCSB FM Santa Barbara 91.9.Viewpoints aired from 8–9am PST every Wednesday, followed in 2000 with No Alibis from 9–11am PST every Wednesday.

No Alibis covered social, political, economic, and cultural issues, each week interviewing guests from across the world. Other related projects included the quarterly series Race & Class Radio (2013–15), which highlighted the current issue of the internationally known journal, published by SAGE and produced by the Institute of Race Relations.
